Description
Robot Butterfly invites you to explore nature’s elegance and interact with the wild around you!
Build it yourself or choose one that is ready to go out of the box. Perfect for intermediate makers and curious beginners ready to level up.
More than a project, Robot Butterfly is an adventure companion!
This robot creature comes alive on your nature walks, sparking curiosity through hands-on technology and a deeper appreciation for the natural world.
Made by and for tech-loving explorers who believe robot creatures should journey alongside us into the wild.
What’s In The Box?
This Robot Butterfly is pre-assembled for you. Take it out of the box, plug in the USB for power, and Robot Butterfly will instantly begin moving!
Each robot includes a random colour of the classic wings. Feel free to add to the order notes your top three colour requests and we’ll aim to fulfil your first choice! Check out the colours available here.
Powering Robot Butterfly
Robot Butterfly can be powered through its USB-C port.
For best performance, especially when the robot is moving or sensing, we recommend using a standard USB power bank, such as the kind used to charge phones. This ensures a stable power supply during outdoor adventures.
While RObot Butterfly also has AA battery, this is better suited for low-power scenarios, such as when Robot Butterfly is idle or stationary. High activity, such as fast servo movements and quick blinking rainbow neopixels, can cause power drops (brown-outs) that may interrupt performance.
